I do realize the "televised interest" for socical nude recreation, but I wish it was in more of a positive light and not this attempt to make it into something that it is not. What really bugs me about the whole situation is the nudist is trying to make their lifestyle seems as ordinary as possible, so people watching can get some misconceptions out of their head and MAYBe try it out for themselves. Then the editing department gets ahold of the footage and then the story gets flipped around and now nudism gets turned into this weird segment on the news that nobody would ever think about trying and in turn; it defeats the whole purpose of the nudists participating in the broadcast in the first place. Personally I don't want something I hold dear to me be turned into some sick perversion. If I were to have the chance to pubically state my views on nudism i would be curious as to what I would say, and/or if I would even participate in the first place. Personally I believe that nude recreation should be advertised to let everyone know that the lifestyle exsists and at the sametime have the advertisments show how everyday the lifestyle is. Basically what I am saying is I believe in advertisment for the lifestyle, but at our control since the evening news, MTV, or other media platforms tend to use nude recreation for their ratings I would endorse a more controlled platform for the advertisement of nude recreation.
