I came across a post the other day. It was a naturist married couple that was my age and they wondered why they couldn't find other couples their age. This started a whole list of reasons why, but the one that struck out to me was that young people don't have the money. This reason I tend to half agree on because I know many people that take summer trips to europe or go to Florida for spring break and those trips cost way more than any GNI gathering. I think a big reason why we don't see many younger people out is because they don't have the time. For example I'm a server and in Chicago the best time to serve is in the summertime. Unfortunately that is also a very popular nudist time as well, and in order to go to GNI I take time out of the busy summer to go. There are other nudist events that I can't go to because I need to stay and work. I know when I'm done with school and get into my career I'll have more time for naturist events, but by that point I won't be a college-aged naturist anymore. I think if we spread awareness that naturism still exists to people my age eventually most of them will try it out when they become older, so here's to hoping!
